Today is sort of the big day. I mean, it's not technically Halloween, but this is the night when everyone will be getting dressed up and partying, right? First, I want to remind everyone about the Carnevil at Spy tonight - I think that's shaping up to be THE party this year. In addition to that, Humble Pie is doing Skareeoke karaoke tonight at 10:00, which seems really apropos since karaoke can be nightmarish at times. What's not scary is that there's NO cover! The Lincoln Theatre is hosting The Costume Ball tonight, with bands, games, prizes, and a photo shoot! That event's $12/$15 and starts at 8:00. If Glenwood South's more your scene, enter Red Room's costume contest where there are prizes in multiple categories for individual and group outfits! Head down there around 9:00 and make sure to get a Halloween-themed drink, like a candy corn-infused martini or a bloody kamikaze! Whatever you choose to do tonight, be careful and call a cab if you need it - Raleigh specials are much more special when everyone is safe!
