The first annual Downtown Raleigh Oktoberfest will start at 4:00 on Person St. (near Piebird and Krispy Kreme) and feature Carolina Brewing Company beer. You can even bring your own beer stein! And if you just can't wait until 4:00 to put on your lederhosen, you can head to The Raleigh Wine Shop's Korktoberfest this afternoon! The Glenwood Ave. shop has free beer and wine tastings, German food by Capital Club (nom), Escazu chocolate (double nom), and special discounts until 6:00. Bring out your inner Bavarian and ring in Oktober!
