Were you guys aware that the
American Cheese Society has been holding its annual conference right here in Raleigh? The cheesemakers have been conferencing it up, but tonight is the
Festival of Cheese, which is open to everyone! The tickets are $55, which sounds steep, but you get to go taste all the cheese you want (with other cheese-friendly foods like crackers, charcuterie, and preserves) plus wine and beer samples. So it's really kind of like beerfest but with unlimited food, too. It's from 7:00 to 9:30 at the
Raleigh Convention Center downtown, and you can get tickets at the door starting at 6:00. I want there to be a festival of cheese every day forever.
