Enjoy another beautiful Raleigh evening with some First Friday happenings. Designbox and Visual Art Exchange both have new shows - db's got some cool local photography and VAE's featured artist, Christian Karkow, will be on-hand to give a talk at 6:00. Artspace is always happening, and this month features some work by Raleigh fave Casey Porn. Don't miss the Great Pumpkin Sale going on in City Market, which is definitely more than just pumpkins. If you're looking to party after the arty (see what I did there?) head to Deep South's anniversary party, featuring The Humble Pig food truck. But whatever you do, get outside. It's actually not raining!
