Are you modern?

As a huge fan of modern design myself, I was pretty stoked to learn about the Triangle Modernist Houses monthly Thirst4Architecture event! These networking events are free and open to the public, so if you're a planner, architect, or simply an appreciator of Raleigh's modern and mid-century buildings, come to the Capital Bank building on Fayetteville St. tonight. Happy hour is from 6:00 to 8:00, and all refreshments are on this month's sponsor, Pearce Brinkley Cease + Lee Architects. Plus, there will be a booksigning with landscape architect Dick Bell, who is responsible for many beautiful Raleigh landmarks, including Pullen Park and State's Brickyard. And did I mention that refreshments are provided? I did? Good, see you there!
