Today, the NC Brewers Guild hosts the Beer & Band Festival at the Lincoln Theatre downtown. With an outdoor and an indoor stage, lots of bands perform for your listening pleasure. And for your tasting pleasure, lots of local breweries have samples: Natty Greene’s, Carolina Brewing Co., Mother Earth, Foothills, LoneRider, Triangle Brewing Co, Huske Hardware, Carolina Brewery, Roth, DuckRabbit and Mash House. Your ticket gets you unlimited access to the bands and the beer. Tickets have been listed as $25 in advance, $30 day-of, but it looks like the special Brewer's Guild fan price of $17.50 is still available on etix. Also, get some food in your tummy with either Mellow Mushroom or Chirba Chirba who will be on-hand for your culinary needs. (And if you haven't had Chirba Chirba yet, you are missing out. Those dumplings are the jam.) Check this out today from 3:00-8:00 pm, and stay at the Lincoln for the Acoustic Syndicate show at 9:00!
