I know it's a little depressing that all of the major holidays are over, but there is so much to look forward to this month! Mark your calendars for these events:

Crepe Myrtle Drag Brunch - The Crape Myrtle Festival is a non-profit organization assists people living with HIV/AIDS and also provides support to the LGBT community at large. Some of the areas best drag performers will be hosting a brunch at The Mint on Sunday, January 15th at noon. Admission is $10, but this does not include food. You can make reservations by calling 919-821-0011.

 Sip 'n Learn - On Monday January 16th at 6 PM,  East Wake Wines and Craft Brew will host Sip 'n Learn. Attendees will be taught the art of blind wine tasting and learn to identify wine by taste and smell rather by the label. The cost is $25 and pre-registration is required. Call 919-518-5025 to reserve your spot.

NC Girls Pint Out Big Boss Operation Tour - Join NC Girls Pint Out on Wednesday, January 25th at 7 PM at Big Boss Brewing as they take you through the process of making their Belgian Black Raspberry and Chocolate Ale. The cost is only $10, but seats are limited. Please RSVP via the Facebook event page.
