Happy St. Paddy's Day!

It's finally here! Now that everyone is Irish, let's celebrate! With the parade going on, downtown is totally the place to be, so combine it with Tir na nOg's Blount St. Irish Party. They'll have music and specials all day and into the night and are conveniently located at the end of Raleigh's parade route. Next door, The Pour House is getting in on the action and will have free shows alongside Tir na nOg's stages. Since Blount is closed today, this promises to be one of the biggest parties in town. If you want to catch the parade in a slightly quieter setting, check out Buku's fantastic patio. They've got a great menu today (including Guinness ice cream) and are right on the route. My favorite spot, The Landmark, has great specials this weekend on Irish-themed drinks, and Raleigh Times has an Irish-themed menu today.
