Make Plans Monday - DT Raleigh Restaurant Weel, Bottle Auction Fundraiser and a Sunday Supper

We are PUMPED about Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week kicking off today! Which restaurants do you plan on hitting up this week? Read on for more info plus a few other events!


Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week - This week, downtown area restaurants feature their best dishes with $20 or $30 prix fixe menus.  Capital Club 16's 3-course menu includes an NC Peach Quark Dumpling for dessert made with Chapel Hill Creamery Quark. Solas' 3-course menu includes your choice of salad - the beet and watermelon salad sounds really interesting! This week is about trying new things, so check out all of the menus and let us know what you discover! Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week ends on Sunday, August 26.


Bottle Auction Fundraiser -The local homebrewing community is coming together to raise money for a fellow homebrewer who was recently in a serious accident. Homebrewers can donate bottles to auction from their stash to raise money help this family who are facing steep medical bills. The auction will take place on Saturday, August 25th at Triangle Wine Company at 3:00 PM. Read their story here and help a member of the community.

Sunday Supper - Capital Club 16 will host a family-style seafood dinner featuring beers from Mother Earth Brewing on Sunday, August 26th at 7 PM. The cost is $32 per person (beer is extra) and reservations can be made by calling 919-747-9345.
