It's Small Business Saturday, a national movement to encourage everyone to shop locally and keep those dolla bills in our own communities. We're so lucky here in Raleigh to have so many fantastic small businesses and locally-owned spots - it's easy to take advantage of them on a day like today! Holly Aiken's amazing store, Stitch, has 30% off this weekend and I guarantee you know someone who wants one of those bags. Check out North Hills - it can be easy to forget just how many local shops are in there, but skip Target and hit up BeyondBlue, Luxe Boutique, or lots of other spots. Have you been to downtown's newest shop, DECO Raleigh? Support local artisans and get great gifts at the same time! For more tips, check out the Shop Local Raleigh Facebook page. Oh, and because RST will never leave you high and dry, Remedy Diner has $5 bloody marys and $6 boilermakers to get you in the shopping mood!

Enter RST's Holiday Giveaway and you can win a gift certificate to a popular Raleigh restaurant!
