Last night kicked off Oaks and Spokes bicycle festival week in Raleigh with the Bike First Friday event and art show at Benelux. Today, though, is probably the most recognizable event of the week with 2013's Triangle Tweed Ride. Registered cyclists will be departing from City Market in their best naughty nineties attire at noon and returning at two, so keep an eye out for these dapper lads and lasses about town. The Moore Square and City Market area will be abuzz with beer and activities so, if you're not riding, head down to check it out when the riders return. The official Party Like It's 1899 afterparty is at 5:00 at Humble Pie if you want to continue mingling with the tweedies!
