Big Boss's brewery (on Wicker Drive, off Atlantic), you can take a
Farm Tour! How is this possible in the middle of Raleigh (one might ask)? Well, they are setting up a mini-plantation right there, and you can drink beer and learn about farming and honey and rain barrels and beer-related crops. A $10 donation gets you a beer and a brat, and the funds go to improving their farm. Plus you could win a
rain barrel just for showing up! The event's from 4:00 to 8:00, with food at 6:00 and the barrel-drawing at 7:00. Did you know that hops grow on a vine? Learning is fun!
