The west side of downtown has some hip happenings tonight. First, Designbox is open for third Friday to support Little Raleigh Radio! From 6:00 to 9:00, you can learn more about their Kickstarter launch and their mission to bring local, community radio to Raleigh. And what better way to follow-up a radio party than a dance party? At 10:00, head to King's for Discovery, which basically is where the DJ plays whatever they want to get you up and dancing. Tonight features Willy Joy in the booth, who is known to completely tear it up. Everyone said that his last set at Discovery was pretty much amazing, so this is a can't-miss event. It's either $6 or $7 at the door, depending on where you look, but I'm sure it'll be well worth it. Plus, the drinks at King's are cheap. Happy Friday!
