Tonight at Amra's, there's a First Friday Fashion Fundraiser for the National MS Society. It's presented by Models for Charity with clothes by Scout & Molly and runs from 6:00 to 8:00.
Meanwhile, you can welcome Oak City Cycling Project to the First Friday family - they're hosting their first event, and it's sponsored by New Raleigh. Oak City Cycling is an independent bike shop focused on increasing ridership in our community. Check them out for snacks, beer, and I have to shout-out one of Raleigh's other new ventures, Slingshot Coffee, which will be serving up iced brew for your sipping pleasure.
Lastly, it's the fourth annual LoveBug event from Toxic Free NC and Marbles Kids Museum. Kids can make bug drawings and costumes, and all proceeds go to Toxic Free's work for environmental health. I don't even have kids, and I really enjoyed this event last year. Happy Fridaying, Raleigh!
