All of Hopscotch's official events are over, but there are a couple of parties today if you haven't quite gotten your music fix yet. I think pretty much everyone will be at Slim's, featuring perennial Raleigh fave American Aquarium and other great bands. They're also advertising $4 Fireball, $2 PBR, or both for $5, starting at noon.
If you're ready to move from rock and roll to that other American passion, football, Amra's is definitely the spot. They're kicking off their weekly free cookouts today starting at 1:00, so you can watch the afternoon games with free food and awesome drink specials. I guess it's really fall now!
